Welcome to Junior Heart Champs!
This branch of Championship Hearts Foundation was developed when a teen volunteer recognized most participants at our Teen Heart Screenings were not exactly sure why they were getting screened. Junior Heart Champs will "inform teens about Sudden Cardiac Arrest, the very thing the screenings strive to prevent."
Why?
goals
❤️Spread awareness to teenagers about unknown heart disease that may lead to sudden stop of the heart (SCA).
❤️Educate on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
❤️Inform about heart screenings (and pre-screening for athletes).
❤️Provide teens access to details about heart screenings and where to get one.
❤️Answer teens' questions about sudden cardiac arrest via blog and social networks.
